Overview
You can use VTQuest to:
- Browse the Virginia Tech campus map
- Point to a building on the map to display its name and the abbreviation
of its name
- Zoom In, Zoom Out, and see Original View
of the map by right-clicking on the map and selecting an option from the
pop-up menu
- While holding the Ctrl key, drag a rectangular area
on the map to zoom in that area
- While holding the Alt key, drag the map to move it
around
- Find a building by name and
- locate it on the Virginia Tech campus map or
- show the building’s floor plan for a selected floor
- Find a building by abbreviated name and
- locate it on the Virginia Tech campus map or
- show the building’s floor plan for a selected floor
- Find buildings in a category (e.g., academic,
administrative, dormitory) and locate them on the Virginia Tech campus map
- Find categories of buildings within a distance
(e.g., 100 yards) by specifying a starting location
- Get the shortest walking directions from
one building to another on the Virginia Tech campus
